 <p>NTDs are a group of 13 debilitating but often ignored diseases that affect what many call the \\"bottom billion\,\\" or the poorest 1.4 billion people who live on this planet. These NTDs cause a huge disease burden\: they disfigure\, stunt growth and cognition in children\, and can lead to blindness\, illness\, and death.</p>
