Improving the health of Mothers & New Born Babies
This is the theme of this year Malezi Bora Week in Kenya.Its a bi-annual activity where health workers intergrate all the intervention aimed at improving the lives of the mother and child.The first phase Malezi bora activity will run from 3rd-15th ,May 2010 while the second phase will be held between 1st-12, November 2010.
Datadyne working closely with the Ministry of Public Health and Sanitation through the Division of Child Healh.During the week supervisors from the National level will use a questionnaire developed by the National level to collect information on Exit Interview and Health Facility.The team at the National level has add another form to be collected using the EpiSurveyor Web version.This is a shift from the previous Malezi Bora activities where supervisors only collected information on the Exit Interview Questioonaire.The training/sensitazation of the tool was done today and it was graced by Mr. George Njuguna, Datadyne Quality control Manager.
Other partners includes,WHO KCO,UNICEF KCO,JPHIEGO (MCHIP),World Vision,PSI and Micronutrient Initiative among others
