DataDyne's DatAgro project just won the Yahoo Green Award, and the FACT Award at the NetSquared N2Y4 conference in San Jose, CA.

The Yahoo Green Award recognizes innovative use of mobile phones to inspire cooperation for social development and environmental protection, while the FACT award (for the French American Charitable Trust) recognizes technology and other projects that address fundamental inequalities and injustices in our society.

La Segunda Online, a Chilean website, covers the recent beta test of DataDyne's DatAgro project. The project, managed in conjunction with Chile's Zoltner Consulting Group and funded by grants from the Knight Foundation and the UN Foundation, uses DataDyne's MIP (Mobile Information Project) technology to provide targeted news and information to local groups in Chile.
