Peru using EpiSurveyor for HIV work among indigenous populations

Researchers Magaly Blas and Isaac Alva at the Unit of HIV and STD epidemiology at Cayetano Heredia University in Lima, Peru have been using EpiSurveyor to assess the association between the Human Papilloma Virus and the Human T-lymphotropic virus (HTLV) in indigenous women from the Peruvian Amazon. These researchers want to see if HTLV has a similar behavior as HIV with regards to increasing risk for cervical cancer.

Supporting Children’s Health in Peru

We here at DataDyne are excited to be teaming up with our Peruvian partners to use MIP technology to support their ongoing efforts to protect the health of children in Peru.

Last week John (Zoltner Consulting) and I went to Lima Peru to meet with the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) to set up the next MIP project.  We'll be using the MIP technology (already being implemented successfully in Chile as the "DatAgro" program) to implement IMCI materials
